'One meter hats' help tourists in China's Hunan Province practice social distancing

They might not be the most fashionable items, but they sure do the trick.

“One-meter hats” are helping tourists observe social distancing at a scenic spot in central China’s Hunan Province.

The headgear is basically a long balloon tied to an ordinary hat.

They’re being handed out for free to remind people to maintain a safe distance from one another amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
