I get asked all of the time about how I can get my hats to stay on my head, so I thought I would share some of my techniques with you!
I hope you pick up a few tricks here! And leave me a comment below of other tricks you use!

These tricks were life changing. Thank you so much!
I recently bought a super cool hat. My first one! My hair is super thick tho and so I searched for help here on YouTube. That's when I found your video. I must say. It helped me a lot! And I gotta say, you are a really beautiful woman and I love your style. 😍
You are totes adorbs. Very Mrs. Maisel style & great makeup. Thanks for the video!
Love it!!!
I've always shyed away from hats but know what to do nowxx
Very helpful. Thank you
thank you. I have a few ideas for my summer hat.
Genius …thank you for this ! i should have looked at this last week ! I wore a cute ferdora hat on the windiest day , and literally to avoid losing my hat i had one hand on my head all day looking like a muppet 🙃
I bought a plain, cartwheel hat for an upcoming outdoor wedding. I am going to add ribbon or a flower that matches my dress. I got elastics that match the colour of my hair, but it bunches my hair up. The crown of the hat is massive but shallow…as they should be…and not a lot of hat actually touches my head. Is this time for a pin through the crown?
I really like vintage hats. I like when people wear them but for me….I feel and look…. well…more than silly.
You look fabulous! 🙂
About the hat pin: I saw that in the TV show called Taboo, and I thought she ( Zilpha) put a weapon in her hat for later use! Now I know it's used like this…. though I am a bit worried that I might prick myself by accident. Maybe I should use those other methods.
I love your hair can I know how you do it, can you make video?
Can anyone explain if piercing the hat with a hat pin damages the hat? What kinds of materials can you just stick a pin through without causing harm after one or two pokes?
I know that this is an old video and you might not see my comment, but thank you for making this. I didn't know how hat pins work until now!
Love the hat collection!!! 👏👏👏👏
I have been thinking of using a ownmade version of a hat pin to keep a crown on my head along with some hair clips. Only to realize it's possible to use elastics as well since it don't need to go under the chin 😆
This is actually very helpful thanks so much!!
Great video
Thank you. Your adorable! How do I find your show?
The hat pin at the side of the hair, would this also work on the big Edwardian"Derby" hats?
what does one do about wide brim hats and windy days? my hats all tend to lift off my head in the front where i don't want to stick a pin that's super visible. i've never gotten the hang of bobby pins or hair combs, they don't seem to actually grab my fine hair or do anything, they just get tangled or fall out or look very obvious and ugly. they don't make any physics sense to me at all. i can't operate bobby pins and operate entirely with hair ties and sticks
pierce the pin trough the skull! yeh got it!
You have a great face/hairdo for hats! You look like my mama did in the 40’s! I make all kinds of ridiculous hats. I’m here looking for unusual ideas for securing them. Not what I was looking for, but I enjoyed your fun presentation and vintage style. Those straw hats behind you, r they vintage or did you make them to look so?
can you make a video of how to take off a green hat
